Employment Coordinator - Full Time - Days

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition the Employment Coordinator is responsible for providing high level customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for managing and tracking all new new hires,company transfers assuring all required clearances are obtained prior to a new employee starting with the organization, all new hire paperwork is complete. Responsible for scheduling interviews for the team; obtaining term files; processing all internal requests such as internal transfers and status changes. Works closely with both internal and external customers assuring proper and timely communication and represents HR in a positive and professional manner at all times with a high regard of to service excellence. Responsible for proper interpretation of recruitment / transfer policies and provides guidance on policies and standards to both team and internal/external customers.

Core Job Responsibilities

Manages the processing of all new hires, rehires coming into the organization. Responsible for making sure all new hire paperwork has been received prior to the employee starting and that all required clearances have been completed prior to start date. Communicates employees able to start promptly to all departments, IT, Payroll personnel as well as directly with the employee as necessary with the assistance of the Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Responsible for proper handling and processing of all Personnel Action Forms for the TA team within the specified timeframes established with the Director, Talent Acquisition. Ensures all processing is completed accurately and sent to Payroll within required timeframes and in accordinace with appropriate policies. Is the main contact for internal and company transfers and provides timely and accurate service to employees and hiring managers with this process.

  • Provides service excellence by representing the Talent Acquisition function and Human Resources in a positive and professional manner at all times. Complies with hospital-wide guidelines and department policies and procedures; conducting job duties in an ethical, honest and professional manner with internal and external customers by including but not limited to; always speaking on the telephone with courtesy; demonstrating teamwork; portraying a positive attitude, complying with regulatory laws and regulations; abiding by compliance guidelines and following the hospitals ethical and business policies. In addition, understands and demonstrates the importance of handling confidential information.

Provides support as needed to the Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition team such as retrieving term files, scheduling interviews for the TAS as well as being a point of contact for incoming calls related to the TA function. Assists the team with maintaining spreadsheets that assist with tracking of recruitment events completed annually as well assists with preparing materials for upcoming events.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
