Emergency Room Nurse

Job Title: RN - Emergency Department

Location: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444

Shift: 7pm - 7am

Duration: 13 Weeks with high possibility of extension

Pay Range: $60 - $65/Hour.

Job Description:

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of growth and development stages from pediatric to geriatric, delivering appropriate patient care.

Performs systematic and thorough assessments, providing direct support for patient care and team operations.

Skilled in emergency equipment and procedures, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Promotes a cooperative environment with professional, courteous interactions, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and safe transfer techniques.

Knowledgeable in surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment, providing individualized care, patient education, and supporting timely completion of patient testing and chart documentation.

Required Skills and Certificates:

1 year experience - Critical Care/ Cardiac or ED

BLS - Required RN License

Required ACLS –

Required PALS - Required for pediatric ER only

Education:

Associate’s in nursing – Required

BSN - Preferred
