This position is located in the Emergency Preparedness Division, Security & Emergency Preparedness Directorate, Chief Operating Officer. The incumbent is responsible for emergency preparedness staff training, exercises, plan review and development, incident response and recovery, and rotational on-call duty. Attends meetings and conferences, as necessary.

Provides advice and guidance to other federal, state, and local governments on appropriate training programs to satisfy various emergency management requirements. Recommends sources to satisfy the training requirements. Assists in the development of specific training sessions/materials to satisfy training requirements.
