Seeking an experienced Embedded Camera Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of embedded camera systems and a deep understanding of image processing and camera hardware.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test embedded camera systems for various applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
Develop and optimize image processing algorithms to ensure high-quality image capture and performance.
Integrate camera modules with microcontrollers and other embedded systems.
Perform feasibility studies and develop prototypes to validate design concepts.
Conduct detailed design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to camera systems.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in camera technology and embedded systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in embedded camera design and development.
Strong knowledge of image sensors, optics, and camera modules.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
Experience with image processing and computer vision algorithms.
Familiarity with hardware design tools and simulation software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with low-power design and optimization techniques.
Knowledge of camera interface standards such as MIPI, CSI, and USB.
Experience with machine learning and AI applications in image processing.
Familiarity with FPGA design and development.
Experience with automotive or industrial camera systems.
