As an email production manager, you will be an integral part of the lifecycle team, responsible for the technical execution of email marketing campaigns in support of company OKRs. You will help own the day to day production of our high performing email campaigns including design development, coding, QA, audience segmentation, and ultimately deployment of emails that help grow our business. You will also monitor post deployment performance, sharing and analyzing results, as well as learnings with the broader team.

You will be a core part of the Growth Marketing Team and work closely with paid marketing, product marketing, marketing science, and more. We are a strategic but lean team and you should be willing to roll up your sleeves. We are looking for you to bring your deep technical email expertise and analytical skills to be the backbone of our internal email production engine.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage the email production process from start to finish, including: campaign set up and mapping, HTML coding, audience segmentation, QA, approvals, and deployment.
  • Ensure email deliverability by maintaining high list hygiene and following best practices
  • Segment email lists to target specific audiences with relevant and personalized content
  • Execute A/B and multivariate testing that continuously improve performance and drive channel growth
  • A/B test different campaign elements (subject lines, calls to action, etc.) to optimize performance
  • Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and report on results
  • Proactively project manage the weekly calendar’s production schedule, confirm details, communicate timely updates, and collect all necessary approvals from key stakeholders
  • Maintain creative asset repository
  • Be up to date on email best practices and work to ensure they are being followed
  • Follow the competitive marketplace and email trends
  • Participate in in-person events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
  • Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 3-5 years of experience managing high volume email sends in an ESP
  • Familiarity with ESPs, Iterable preferred
  • HTML and CSS knowledge for email development
  • An understanding of design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and/or Figma)
  • Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Self-motivated and energetic mindset with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and learn technical information quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Curiosity and desire to make things better, faster, and stronger

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $90,000 to $135,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
