Position Overview: Substitute Teacher/Assistant
You play a crucial role in maintaining our students' academic progress by stepping in during a teacher's absence or supporting remote instruction. You will assume the responsibilities of the classroom teacher(s) for the school day, ensuring continuity of high-quality instruction with professionalism and accuracy.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of college coursework (equivalent to 60 semester credit hours)
Classroom experience and/or experience working with children in a structured environment
Strong communication and computer skills
Satisfactory background check, including references and fingerprinting clearance
Responsibilities
Facilitate lesson plans in the absence of a regular teacher
Assist remote teachers in managing the classroom effectively
Maintain a consistent volume of high-quality instruction
Uphold professionalism and accuracy in all aspects of classroom management
