Overview

The Electronics Engineering Technician III supports design engineering and development activities and uses electronic and mechanical testing equipment. This role involves hands-on prototyping and testing, setting up equipment, keeping records, and performing routine repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production with testing and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Work from a variety of technical documents including test specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc.
• Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment, and test cables.
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment.
• Use Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment.
• Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for the product development team.
• Recommend tools, equipment, and test fixture needs, and support acquisition.
• Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under the direction of Design Engineering personnel.

Salary Range: $30.70/hr - $37.62/hr. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
