The Electro-Mechanical Technician I is assigned to a specific customer site and works with the team of Electro-Mechanical Technicians onsite to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment (conveyors, cranes, shuttles, etc.) within the facility.
This position is entry-level with plenty of opportunities to learn and advance into more experienced positions within the company. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, eager to learn, has a proactive mindset towards problem-solving, and possesses some knowledge of or interest in electrical and/or mechanical principles. This position starts at $22 per hour, with potential for more based on candidate qualifications.
This position is based at the new URBN distribution facility in Kansas City, KS. (11681 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66111)
Job Duties
Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment on-site, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton-opening systems.
Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible.
Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned.
Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
Improve efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs. Interface with the customer as needed to support operations.
Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory, as applicable.
Collaborate with the broader TGW Lifetime Services team to track, document, and communicate issues and lessons learned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Details
Starting Rate: $22 / hour, more based upon experience
Overtime and shift coverage may be required based on staffing needs (Exact shift hours may change / fluctuate based on customer needs and peak season staffing)
