Electrical Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled 12 volt installer with extensive experience in the transportation industry to join our team. This position involves installing hardware and electrical components in various transportation vehicles, ensuring they meet operational standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

Install 12 volt electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and hardware in transportation vehicles such as trucks, buses, and specialty vehicles.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure functionality and safety.

Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand installation requirements and specifications.

Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of wiring diagrams and system configurations.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout all installation processes.

Travel extensively to different project locations as required, often on a full-time basis.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a 12 volt installer, preferably within the transportation industry.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and hardware installation techniques.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at various locations as needed.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in automotive or electrical systems.

Previous experience with specialty vehicles or custom installations.

Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in the transportation industry.
