Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our production shop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems, minimizing downtime, and optimizing efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and technologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, PLC and CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electrical maintenance or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and motors.
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
