Installs, maintains tests, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial electrical equipment, machinery, and associated electrical and electronic controls.
Must be proficient in using electrical testing devices such as multimeter
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blue prints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
Directly or indirectly through subordinates, this position is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds, production machinery, and electrical equipment.
Create and implement maintenance procedures.
Provide support and knowledge to trouble shoot maintenance and repair issues.
Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
Responsible for completing equipment inspections, as necessary.
Assures areas are clean and free of clutter and that all safety rules, regulations and precautions are being followed.
Experience in all lock out tag out protocols.
Performs all other duties assigned.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field, or Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Must be fully proficient in diagnosing and making repairs to electrical motor controls.
Must be able to read electrical schematic.
Must be able to function in the required role while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including, but not limited to: Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, dust mask, protective coveralls, and other as may be required by a hot/cold, dusty, loud industrial environment.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
Bending, reaching, twisting, stooping, walking, and climbing stairways and ladders frequently.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Operating manufacturing equipment is considered a "Safety Sensitive" function. A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, performing maintenance, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, loading or unloading such machinery. Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
