Electrical Engineer

Insight Global's client is looking for a Level 4 Electrical Engineer - this contractor shall assist and augment day-to-day capacity of Electrical Engineer working on the dirt-to-done program within these Global Data Center - Execution Engineering team. Broad range of scope covers A) design & localization of new hyperscale data centers and campuses, B) supporting operations staff with engineering solutions, C) streamlining construction issues resolutions and D) other internal engineering tasks.

• B.S.(Electrical Engineering) is required
• 5+ years experience in design, construction, and commissioning of medium/low voltage electrical distribution systems, as well as primary substations
• Experience specifying switchgears/switchboards/panelboards, cables, monitoring equipment, generators, VFDs, UPS, Transformers, etc
• Experience performing power system analysis with common engineering software packages
• Proficient user of drafting tools like CAD or BIM
• Experience and general knowledge of cross discipline teams: structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural

Pay range: $60-$70/hr, flexible dependent on experience
