Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer Encoders for NIS – Americas will assist in New Product Development; Specifications, Simulations, Design, Prototyping, Validation Testing, Agency Certifications (CE & UL), FMEA, DFMEA, and complete design cycle of product to release for production.

Education Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience in Circuit Design and Product Development
Circuit Designs including Digital, Analog, Microprocessor, and ASICs
with Communication Buses and Communication Protocols (RS-232, RS-485, 12C, SPI, CAN etc.)
for EMI Mitigation
Encoder Experience is a plus
Shooting and Debugging, Documentation, and Version Control
Preferred:
Experience with Industrial Automation, Sensors, and Encoders
Experience with Electric Motor Controls and Magnetics
Real Time Programming in Embedded C
