Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve specific revenue targets by identifying and prioritizing districts.
Introduce our comprehensive product solutions to districts, guiding them from initial concept through to implementation and revenue realization.
Identify and cultivate relationships with new funding sources within districts.
Organize and host key events such as trade shows, executive visits, and channel training sessions.
Provide strategic input to consortiums, training centers, and Department of Educations (DOEs).
Required Skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit, working closely with Regional Managers, Channel Managers, Inside Account Managers, Demand Generation, and Professional Development Specialists.
Strong proficiency in products and software, with a willingness to adapt to new solutions as they evolve.
Ability to confidently present to large audiences, demonstrating expertise in both hardware and software presentation tools.
Deep understanding of education sector dynamics, ideally with prior teaching experience.
High proficiency with technology, demonstrating initiative and a capacity for independent learning.
Supervision And Collaboration
This role operates independently from a home office under the guidance of the Regional Manager, with regular one-on-one meetings and field travel throughout the year.
Working Conditions
Candidates must be capable of remote work from a home office, with extensive travel within the assigned territory for meetings and product demonstrations.
Ability to obtain a passport and travel to Canada is required.
Successful completion of district-level background checks is necessary for working effectively in K-12 environments.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field.
Preferably, prior experience as an educator in addition to a strong sales background, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity products is advantageous.
Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivation, with exceptional time-management and planning skills.
Additional Requirements
Availability for extensive travel within North America, comprising approximately 70% of work hours.
