This position is the operational leader of the assigned program(s). The position will ensure program regulations and best practices are implemented, managed and maintained. This role will be responsible to provide ongoing administrative, educational, and clinical program direction in development, program evaluation, and program planning. This position will be responsible for maintaining all educational state mandates as outlined for licensure.
Salary, up to $75,000 DOE
Program Management
Responsible for endorsing Merakey Core Values throughout daily program operations
Oversees the profit and loss for program(s)
Manages daily operation of program(s)
Ensures contractual requirements and Merakey policies, procedures and best practices are met
Implements policies/procedures as directed
Ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements as well as requirements from state education agencies and payors
Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
Responsible for fidelity of educational and clinical components of program
Maintains HIPAA and FERPA guidelines in all aspects of work environment
Marketing and Recruitment
Participates in the marketing, development and expansion of programs (e.g. developing programs and proposals to expand services) by diversifying stakeholder portfolios
Ensures marketing materials are up to date
Supports fundraising and marketing events
Oversees recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.
Staff Management
Provides on-going guidance, mentoring, feedback and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
Interviews and recommends prospective candidates for open departmental positions
Recommends and/or makes decisions in personnel related matters (performance review, disciplinary actions, and terminations). This includes monitoring attendance, leave requests, ensure accuracy of hours worked and adherence to Agency policies and procedures
Documents attendance, verifies weekly timesheets, monitors available leave and schedule adherence, approves and denies leave requests, and tracks FMLA usage
Develops and demonstrates collaborative work environment in support of Merakey’s Core Values.
Creates a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
May be accountable for fact finding and grievances for lower level violations such as attendance and performance.

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited or recognized organization.
Master's Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited or recognized organization, preferred.
Supervisory/Principal Certificate or Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification, preferred
