Optoma is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our sales organization as an Education Consultant. The right candidate will work with our sales team to deliver pre-sales presentations and develop long term post sales relationships with our customers to ensure the effective use of our display technologies in the classroom.
Job Description
Provide pre-sales support for Optoma sales teams through presentations, demonstrations, and sales engagements.
Help sales managers identify customer needs through solution-based selling techniques and demonstrate the full value of the Optoma suite of hardware and software products.
Develop professional development content for Optoma customers and reseller/partners.
Provide post sales follow up and account management with key customers.
Deliver professional development and support to Optoma customers and reseller partners.
Develop long term relationships with key customers as a trusted education advisor.

Candidate Specification
Extensive travel required
3 + years of teaching experience in a classroom environment
Classroom technology experience in both training and content/lesson development
Results driven, well organized, flexible, and have strong follow-up skills
Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage education customers through the use of technology solutions.
Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to present in front of large groups.
Ability to present via teleconference technologies.
Understanding of the teaching and learning process in the classroom.
Able to understand selling process into education customer accounts.
