Our client is a Fortune 500 Telecommunications Company seeking an Editor for a 3-month, remote contract.

Editor (VOD and streaming services)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (REMOTE)

Duration: 3-month contract

Pay rate: $18-20/hr

Job Requirements:

Our company is committed to providing a wide range of content offerings for its customers on the streaming platforms. As we grow the number of ingested SVODs that we offer on our platform, we seek to hire an on-device experience specialist who can ensure that this content is properly editorialized on our devices. The resulting customer experience should feel intuitive, drive content discovery, and maximize upsell opportunity.

The On-Device Experience Specialist/Editor will oversee platform QC and editorial work. To ensure the highest customer quality experience, it is the expectation that the specialist takes ownership of the user journey by reviewing, updating, and implementing revisions to the STB endpoints in our platform lineup. Duties will include:

• Coordinate w/ business, editorial, and product leaders to build engaging and on platform entity pages for various ingested SVODs.
• Enact editorial related tasks, updates, and corrections through a variety of tools. (MAX, entOS, Gracenote, Merlin, and VOD Inspector).
• Source media and metadata from content partners periodically to support updated channel aesthetics.
• As needed, conduct content and channel wellness checks to ensure a healthy supply of new content flow to existing partner pages. These responsibilities including testing video playback, upsell and subscribe/unsubscribe functionality, voice and search functionality, quality, sizing and dimensions of asset imagery, and ensuring that all content is available for playback.
