Halon Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Freelance Editor to work on exciting, high-profile feature film and video game cinematic projects. The ideal candidate is excited about editing Previs, Postvis and Finals Animation Production content. This is a remote-work opportunity.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Editing picture, sound, and delivering final versions of: Showreels, Sizzle Reels, BTS/Sales videos, and Presentations/Panels as needed
• Basic sound mixing and color correction to final
• Editing and delivering frame accurate updates of Production Content with new renders.
• Working in an organized and efficient manner within Halon’s established pipeline and security protocols
• Assisting in setting up new projects ensuring editorial formats of the pipeline are in place
• Reports to Production and Editorial departments
• Uploading Content and maintaining the Halon Vimeo page
• Helping to organize and maintain the editorial folders on the Halon server
• Setting up and organizing new Editorial projects
• Rendering out content with and without watermarks as needed
• QCing content with an eye for accuracy, quality, and detail
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of previous experience as an Editor preferred Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
• Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with professionals at all levels
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision within the parameters of the assignment
• Must be a proactive problem-solver with creative instincts and the ability to complete tasks
• Experience with working with creative individuals
  
  

Salary Range:

• $43 - $60 per hour
