Editor
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
The Editor will be responsible for proofing all content, and ensuring live copy is accurate, on-brand and spec-aligned. The Editor is a key contributor of the Global Marketing team and will work collaboratively within our department and with other departments to keep our brand intact.
Essential Functions
- Edit all copy/content created by Marketing copywriters
- Edit copy/content to assist other departments (Training, Sales, Client Management, Support, Executive, HR, etc.)
- Edit RFI/RFP response documents
- Edit all copy/content produced from outside agencies working with the Marketing team
- Update copy templates and help create new templates as needed
- Maintain the BST Global and Audere brand books and style guides
- Serve as a grammar/copy spec authority for the company
- Handle copy/design syncs, ensuring the designed content aligns with the approved copy doc; recommend adjustments to ensure content clarity and readability
- Contribute to and edit BST Global's internal newsletter, Market Mindshare
- Edit Marketing team deliverables like quarterly company meeting presentations, annual budget presentations, etc.
- Help with project management setup and coordination when appropriate in our project management software system, Wrike
- Assist in other areas of the Marketing team as needed (events, digital marketing and social media support)

- Proven B2B editing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in various mediums, including email, phone and in person
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to produce accurate, spec-aligned deliverables
- Expert knowledge of AP Style and English grammar rules
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups
- Ability to effectively manage projects and drive to completion
- Self-starter, able to work independently
Education & Prior Work Experience
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, English or other related field; 6+ years of editing experience; or any equivalent combination of related training/education and experience required
- Experience in B2B and/or software content editing preferred

Work Environment
This is a hybrid role. This job operates in a professional office environment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and laptop computers, phones, etc. On Mondays and Fridays, the Global Marketing team typically works remotely.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to engage in conversations over the phone, person-to-person and via email. The employee will frequently sit, stand, walk, and operate a computer and/or other standard office equipment.
