Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Economic and Workforce Development Manager located in Charlotte Metro. As an Economic and Workforce Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing programs and initiatives that promote economic growth, job creation, and workforce development in the community. You will collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and businesses to identify opportunities, design strategies, and implement projects that address the needs of the community.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, public policy, or a related field prefered
Proven experience in economic and workforce development, including program development and implementation
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex economic and workforce challenges
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Knowledge of local economic and workforce development policies, programs, and resources
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and economic modeling software
Fluency in English and Spanish
