Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a US-based Ecommerce Merchandiser at Peplink. The Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks related to product merchandising on website and marketplaces such as Amazon, including updating and maintaining product listings, optimizing product pages and catalogs, writing compelling copy, conducting A/B tests and market research, creating and implementing marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience creating and executing digital ecommerce marketing, including onsite merchandising, on-device/mobile, and/or display; experience managing and selling products on Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central 

• Experience managing and updating the online product catalog, including setting up new products and promotional items and maintaining product and category pages data analysis, performance trends, etc

• Experience marketing technical products, emphasizing user benefits and product differentiation for technical or B2B buyers and tech-savvy consumer audiences

• Writing customer-facing copy for technical products that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the online customer 

• Proficiency with Content Management Systems and ability to edit basic HTML and XML 

• Must be comfortable with Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis; must be comfortable with Amazon product listing spreadsheets to add, edit, and maintain product listings. 

• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management 

• BA/BS required 


An Ideal Candidate would also have: 

• Experience managing large scale merchandising programs, site merchandising 

• Former Amazon employee or extensive experience with Amazon retail marketplaces (Vendor Central and Seller Central). 

• Experience with A/B or multivariate testing and statistical signficance calculations

• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
