eCommerce Marketplace Manager

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

Overview:

An eCommerce Marketplace Manager is a strategic role focusing on the management and growth of the company’s product listings across various online marketplaces. You will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketplace strategy, encompassing a presence on platforms such as EBay, Poshmark, and other specialized online retail environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize product listings on various online marketplaces.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability on all marketplaces
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace metrics to identify trends and sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve quality, traffic acquisition and develop promotional strategies
  • Manage relationships with marketplaces and service providers, ensuring the company receives the best possible service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and innovations in e-commerce, and making recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and regulations
  • Forecast and track sales trends and profits within each channel
  • Provide regular reports on marketplace performance to senior management such as tracking sell-through data, patterns and trends across platforms
  • Oversee the marketplace engagement & fulfillment
  • Coordinate with inventory team to ensure adequate product supply for platforms
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities and platforms for expansion
  • Write SOPs for for marketplace cross-functional processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years related work experience, in online marketplace management
  • Familiarity with popular marketplace platforms and requirements to list / sell on each channel
  • Strong knowledge of the eCommerce industry and it’s best practices
  • Comfortable presenting data insights to company partners and external parties
  • Familiarity with Metabase Cloud
  • Proven experience in increasing sales on online marketplaces
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, exempt position. This position is not eligible for overtime. Work hours are typically 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday.
