To support our US growth plans we are searching for an Ecommerce Business Intelligence Specialist.


Overview:


Reporting to the Ecommerce & Analytics Manager and part of the Growth Team, the Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing business intelligence solutions, analyzing data sets, and providing actionable insights that support our growth and strategic initiatives. They will be responsible for online sales channels (DTC & Amazon) reporting/ analysis, concentrating on leveraging data and learnings to increase top line revenue, profitability and customer retention efforts.With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, they will bring expertise in data analysis, visualization, and business strategy to help us achieve our ambitious Growth goals and optimize our customer journeys and operations.


What you’ll be doing:


Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Familiar with handling multiple data sources and connections.


Strategic Insights: Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic planning and operational improvements.


Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives. Support on Business Reports to executive leadership.


Attribution Tracking: Develop and optimize attribution capabilities within the organization to assist marketing and sales teams in understanding wins and losses.


Consumer Insights: Work with EA Manager to develop and oversee consumer insight functions of the organization to deepen understanding of connection points, retention levers and general product/ company feedback across online sales channels and Amazon.


Business Intelligence Solutions: Develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports to support various departments, including Growth, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Quality and Supply Chain.


Collaboration across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that drive business performance.


Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement improvements to existing processes and tools. Ensure Data accuracy across platforms.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a business intelligence or data analysis role with CPG/ DTC brands selling physical products, consumables or hard goods across multiple online sales channels.
  • Technical Skills: experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar. Data modeling, Data Quality and/or Process Automation experience will be valuable.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proactive and innovative, with a drive to take initiative and deliver impactful results in a startup environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in reports and metrics.
  • Preferred Platforms: PowerBI, SQL, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads Manager, META Ads Manager, Tiktok Ads Manager, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Klaviyo, ERP Tools.

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000 - $80,000. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity.
