The Ecommerce Analyst will drive the analytics and insights to deliver on our aggressive Ecommerce growth plan and focus on the impact of growth levers around site analytics and channel merchandising.

  • Be an expert at explaining, proving, and providing insight into ecomm revenue driving levers; whether that is promotional impact, product variants, or traffic/channel adjustments.
  • Consistent understanding of marketing channel performance mix, with the ability to identify anomalies and provide insights to internal teams to make necessary changes.
  • Become a driver of ecommerce growth through measurement, testing, and recommendation surfacing.
  • Work cross-functionally to impact change. Build credibility through thoroughness of analysis. Influence standard work processes to increase the velocity and frequency of data driven decision making.
  • Implement and leverage 3rd party quantitative tools to provide 360 views into ecommerce performance.
  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 implementation and Power BI suite to find new and innovative ways to analyze site performance and work with relevant stakeholders to effect change.
  • Be the key data storyteller that connects research to meaningful insights that drive actions by audience ranging from merchandise planners to the CMO.
  • Leverage uplift analysis techniques to produce merchandising recommendations to drive incremental sales.

Education And/Or Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital/ecommerce analytics (B2C preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics (strong GA4 experience)

  • Advanced understanding of the drivers of Ecommerce business, especially experienced in measuring and optimizing merchandising tactics (such as, product variants, product bundling etc.), customized offers (such as, product promotions, free expedited shipping etc.) and traffic channel mix to continually improve site performance.
  • Ability to arrive at data driven insights through use of 1P and 3P data and tools.
  • Track record of impacting change through analytics. Ability to articulate and present complex data findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience with site merchandising and ability to determine impact of changes through methods such as uplift analysis.
  • Demonstrate EQ to influence decision making without necessary authority.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization techniques (i.e. Power BI, Tableau), working SQL knowledge and expert ability at leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights.
  • Ability to support A/B tests to find conclusive results that drive change.
