The position of a Principal is available immedaitely at East Central ISD for the 2023-2024 school year. Education/Certification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in educational administration
Texas Principal or Mid-Management Certificate
Administrative Experience At The Campus Level (Elementary Experience Preferred)
Advanced Education Leadership (AEL) certification, Instructional Leadership Training (ILT), or Instructional Leadership Development (ILD)
Special Knowledge/Skills
Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience
Two years experience as a classroom teacher
Three years experience in instructional leadership roles
