Us Weekly is seeking early morning editor-writers — likely based overseas in the UK due to timing — for UsMagazine.com, which is read by over 21 million unique users monthly. This person will work a mostly independent 5-6 hour shift (2-5 days a week) 3:30am to 8:30am EST — covering the most urgent, timely, buzzy and traffic-generating celebrity and entertainment news stories for a U.S. audience. This is a high-paced, high-volume role. Candidates should have a deep well of experience writing online for American celebrity/entertainment outlets, a knack for crafting creative, Us-friendly angles and SEO-savvy headlines, a sharp sense of our audience and brand voice, and an ease working in CMS and standard/basic photo editing.
