Conduct consultations focused on solutions, assisting clients in defining goals, planning actions, and gaining insights.
Assess and refer clients to appropriate programs and services, including Worklife, behavioral health, substance abuse/chemical dependency, and community-based resources.
Assist in referrals for members needing ongoing or additional counseling services.
Provide limited aftercare monitoring, ensuring the safety of employees and continuation of treatment.
Offer manager consultation services on work-related issues such as performance management, trauma in the workplace, organizational change, crisis intervention, coaching, and Work-life balance.
Provide crisis intervention and management support in response to Critical Incidents.
Conduct on-site training for managers and employees, including wellness seminars, health fairs, and Lunch & Learns.
Participate in monthly one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and other customer meetings as required.
Utilize UHG computer systems to accurately document member contact and case details, adhering to departmental timelines.
Adhere to internal ethical and regulatory privacy policies, including HIPAA, maintaining confidentiality of members' private health information.
Follow state and federal licensing practices.
Undertake other projects as assigned by manager.

Required Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline.
Current, unrestricted license at the independent practice level in the state of California.
3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
Dedicated workspace and access to high-speed internet.
Preferred Qualifications
Training in EAP, workplace and organizational dynamics.
CEAP certification.
Experience in managed care, private or public clinics, focusing on mental health, chemical dependency, and workplace issues.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different levels of management and personnel.
Strong organizational skills, capable of managing stressful situations and multiple competing priorities.

The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour, based on factors such as education, work experience, and certifications.
