EAP Counselor

Are you a Fully Clinically Licensed Counselor or Social Worker looking to make a positive impact in the world of virtual mental health services?

We are hiring individuals with a passion for counseling to service our growing EAP Network of clients. This 100% work from home position will allow you to operate from the comfort of your own home while still providing your community with the mental health support that they need. Full-time & part-time schedule available.

👉🏾 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling/Education, or related field
• Must be fully clinically licensed & able to practice without supervision
• Examples of appropriate licenses include but are not limited to – LCPC, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, and LMFT
• Currently prioritizing individuals with independent clinical licensure in California & Texas
• Minimum of 1-2 years post-master’s clinical experience, including such areas of focus as crisis services, community mental health, or substance use services where anxiety, depression, workplace stress, etc. are common issues of concern for the clients
• Flexibility to work mostly late evenings (ie1-9pm, 2-10pm) and/or weekends
• Ability to work with all age groups, families, & couples

☝🏻 Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and short-term counseling services using a brief solution focused model - EAP, Gambling, Special Helplines (FRAP), mandatories.
• Ability to provide counseling within a 45-50 minute session with documentation taking place during the balance of the counseling hour.
• Attend continuous learning sessions, training, and case consultations on a regular basis.
• Meet sessional, containment, and other targets as defined by the Clinical Manager.
• Provide telephone consultations related to crisis or assessed urgent situations when required.
• Comfortable navigating internal operating systems, retrieving organizational information, and communicating with clients.
• Remain informed on relevant regulatory and legislative developments

• Excellent communication, problem solving, collaboration, cultural competency, time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows NT environment, basic typing skills).
• Strict adherence to the ethical principles governing confidentiality/privacy legislation.
• Ability to work with all age groups children-adults, individuals, couples, & families.
