Job Summary

EAP Clinicians provide phone consultation and assessment services to our Employee and Student Assistant Program customers in a confidential call center environment. They establish positive relationships with other departments within the company including but not limited to Customer Success, Provider Services, Work Life and Customer Service Representatives. Clinicians are responsible for maintaining thorough documentation.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments of caller needs and initiate appropriate referrals or clinical recommendations for clients needing services beyond the EAP benefit or scope.
  • Provide clinical expertise in response to a variety of circumstances ranging from crisis intervention to routine business matters.
  • Provide risk management for at-risk clients; develop emergency response plans following the EAP organization's procedure for critical situations.
  • Triage calls to WorkLlife, legal and financial specialists as is needed.
  • Conduct outreach calls in accordance with specialty programs (Disability, Workman's Compensation, etc.)
  • Provide brief / problem-focused clinical support.
  • Provide Motivational Interviewing for callers exhibiting ambivalence regarding their situation.
  • Consistently present in a professional manner when responding to all calls regardless of the nature or circumstances of the call.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the range of mental health and EAP benefits provided and coordinate care with community treatment resources, mental health managed care programs, and community support services. Provide professional knowledge of mental health concerns and treatment modalities in an EAP context.
  • Complete appropriate documentation in clinical case tracking systems in compliance with policy and regulatory standards and in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Success team members to ensure customers are consistently serviced at a high level.
  • Participate in staff meetings, and present clinical cases or training to staff upon request of supervisor.

  • Comply with all Federal and applicable State laws and Lucet policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information.


Required

Job Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, or Clinical Psychologist.
  • 3+ years post licensure experience in direct clinical care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills including an ability to communicate telephonically and type.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, demonstrated willingness to work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.


Preferred

  • Prior EAP experience
  • CEAP
  • Call center experience
  • Crisis intervention work
  • Spanish proficiency

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed indoors in a remote, home setting or typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to VDT screens, video calling, headphones, and computers.
  • Physical demands include constant ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside an office or remote setting, able to communicate and exchange information with others, able to inspect information, and able to perform repetitive motion with arms and fingers.
  • Mental demands include constant ability to interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, and organize and plan.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The starting salary that Lucet reasonably expects to pay for this position ranges from $49,000 - $74,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance.

This position is a federally contracted position with the United States Postal Service. which has specific requirements for all candidates which include:

  • The ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen prior to their date of hire.
  • The ability to undergo a Public Trust background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication.
  • US Citizenship for at least 5 years.
