DVM Medical Director / Vet

Novaris Search is currently partnered with a leading veterinary group in the search for a Medical Director / Lead Vet for one of their high performing clinics.

This provider has opportunities across the US and offers opportunities in GP and ER, Specialty clinics.

As part of the leadership team for a well established and high performing company this position will oversee all medical practice and operations for the clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring DVMs
• Oversee the medical operations in the veterinary clinic to ensure a high level of care is delivered
• Organizes and conducts regular doctor and team meetings
• Mentor, lead and develop new graduates and clinical teams
• Develop and evaluate medical SOPs
• 40%+ hands on clinical work

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• +3 years clinical experience
• 1+ years of Leadership Experience preferred
• Ability to build strong relationships with Associates in the hospital
