Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking a designer/drafter. This position creates CAD models and prepares assemblies, general arrangements, foundation, detail, and erection drawings in the material handling and structural steel building industries. CAD Programs used are Trimble Tekla Structures, AutoDesk Inventor, and AutoDesk AutoCAD.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Develop CAD designs using computer-assisted design/drafting software and various hand and automated measuring tools.
Utilize knowledge of shop fabrication processes to influence the design process. This knowledge will be gained through on-the-job experience.
Opportunities to travel to job sites to do field measuring are possible. Safety training will be provided.
Education And Experience
Experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, or Tekla software is preferred.
An associate degree from a two-year college or university is desired, but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Other
Must be available to work overtime as required.
