What You'll Do
Implement customized training programs tailored to individual dogs and their owners’ goals.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of dogs’ behavior and training needs.
Train 10-15 dogs for one hour each week and lead group classes once per week.
Provide clients with progress updates and written detailed homework.
Lead Lifetime Graduate Support group classes.
Assist in community engagement and brand awareness efforts.

Excellent Communicator: Friendly, outgoing, and easy to communicate with, great interpersonal and teaching skills.
Adaptable & Eager to Learn: Open to learning and teaching, confident in handling various dog training needs.
Self-Starter: Takes initiative and thrives in a role with freedom and responsibility.
Reliable & Flexible: Available to work from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday - Saturday, and able to drive a cargo van for client visits.

Dog Trainer Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of dog training experience.
Customer Service: Ability to provide stellar customer service and professionalism.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Fitness: Can meet the physical demands of working with active dogs without issue.
Own a Trained Dog: Your sociable, well-trained dog living with you is a plus.
Positive Attitude: Outgoing, positive, and eager to learn and adapt.
Training: Successful completion of a 20-day out-of-state hands-on training at The Dog Wizard Academy is mandatory. All online training must be successfully completed before hands-on training starts.
Additional Skills: Experience in sales and customer communication is a plus. Bilingual is a plus.
