We are seeking a Lab Office Manager & Documentation Control Specialist to join our Dallas, TX Research & Development team. Reporting to the Manager of Product Development, the Lab Office Manager & Documentation Control Specialist will work as a support resource for all cross-functional development project teams.

This position will own documentation control and all affiliated processes, procedures, and systems for the R&D group. They will also provide administrative and office management support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Archivist Responsibilities - organizing, digitizing, and preserving the original documents associated with GLP studies conducted for EPA submission.
  • Test and Control Responsibilities - receiving, storing, distributing, and documenting test substances intended for use in studies conducted under GLP standards.
  • Administrative Responsibilities - support for the R&D group with the daily tasks that keep the department operating at a successful level. Tasks include direct and indirect purchasing, inventory management of office supplies, log books, laboratory supplies, processing POs, invoices, check requests, vendor setup, assist with annual and project budgeting, and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail in work tasks.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented focus with an ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule (8 h/d, M-F, 40 h/week).
  • Strong interpersonal, motivating, organizational, and follow through skills.

Minimum Experience & Education

  • College degree (BS/BA) or 5+ years previous experience in a similar role.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work hours are in an office environment attached to an R&D laboratory with most time spent on computer work or handling physical files and records. The position is based out of our Dallas, TX laboratory.
  • Due to the requirements of handling physical files, samples, and records this is not a remote position.
  • Routine travel is not expected for this position.
  • Offset (early or late) shift start times are available at our site for this role.
