Job Description

Cyient Inc. has an opening for an OSP Engineering Division Manager position located in our Allen, TX office for our AT&T Project. You should have significant OSP design experience with both copper and fiber networks, experience overseeing and growing customer accounts, and significant supervisory experience. You will report directly to the Senior Delivery Manager in Allen, TX.

You Will:

  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to local OSP engineering teams and other global Cyient engineering and delivery teams working on AT&T projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate with team members to achieve maximum success and efficiency in the delivery of engineering designs, field surveys, and other OSP projects.
  • Identify and deploy necessary resources to accomplish work while managing the stability of the project and customer account.
  • Review, understand, and explain multiple telecom deployment technologies (FTTP, FTTN, HFC, CATV, Small Cell, etc.), telecom terminology, and the various telecom infrastructure environments (aerial, buried, underground, wireless).
  • The candidate should have experience working with AT&T, Frontier or Tier I communication services providers in North America comprising Delivery/Program Management/technical consulting roles will be an added advantage.
  • Building Proactive proposals – exploring ongoing engagements and identifying business opportunities, adjacencies, and innovation areas to support lead generation activities with Sales and BD teams, building proactive propositions & working collaboratively with the Sales team to improve the win ratio & Topline.
  • Customer Centricity: Build relations with various regional offices of existing customers, and have regular meetings as required
  • Attending periodic governance meetings with customers regularly through Microsoft Teams/in person and updating the progress on the projects
  • P&L's responsibility to meet the Top line & GM% budgeted numbers
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales, BD & Operations teams on the proposals, revenue budgets, forecast & achievement
  • Submitting weekly progress report to Senior Exec. Delivery Manager, customers, and other partners
  • Communicate project and account status to senior management, Develop and strengthen relationships with our customers and partners.
  • Proactively identify potential project risk factors, communicate these with our partners, and work with team members to address and resolve them.
  • Should look into ACAS bids and proposals and estimate the required efforts

You'll Need:

  • Preferred to have a working (engineering) and managing experience of AT&T and Frontier projects.
  • Must have a complete understanding of AT&T scopes like (IFP, ASE, BAU, and JPA Projects) and processes, systems, and applications not limited to ARAMIS, WALDO, MIC, CFAS, and JAM and frontier applications not limited to FROGS, VARASSET, SITETRACKER, DPI, INFINIUM.
  • Must be able to implement a lean process/ tweak the existing process to obtain the desired results.
  • Must possess good skills in People, Project, and Process management.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of OSP Engineering required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Right-of-Way, easement, or local permitting requirements.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other customer-proprietary design systems as stated above.
  • Flexibility for travel up to 25% is required.
