Position Summary:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for overall business performance in a defined geography. This role is accountable for the overall driving profitable growth, managing the development of people and driving new initiatives. This position is considered a first-line leadership position, with hands-on responsibilities.
This position is covering Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Position Summary:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for overall business performance in a defined geography. This role is accountable for the overall driving profitable growth, managing the development of people and driving new initiatives. This position is considered a first-line leadership position, with hands-on responsibilities.
This position is covering Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
What Will You Do
- Provide effective leadership, input to strategic planning and direction to assigned sales team to achieve financial objectives.
- Ensure all Account Managers develop effective relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization, assuring customer satisfaction through direct engagement.
- Deliver profit and growth objectives in accordance with budget targets. This includes proactive pricing and margin management.
- Deliver accurate financial forecasts and other reports as required.
- Cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders to maintain existing business and identify new revenue streams and support business case development and implementation. This includes Business Development, Key Account Managers, and Fluidcare, R&D and Marketing.
- Recommend appropriate go to market channel selection.
- Responsible for allocation of responsibilities, resources, and other criteria needed to accomplish business objectives.
- Manage performance, develop high performing team and establish succession within the commercial organization in partnership with HR.
- Implement and drive and internal value based selling approach through the customer engagement and account management process.
- Ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, customer policies, procedures and regulations.
- Understand the competitive landscape and provide input where applicable.
- Leverage CRM to drive a high-performance culture; to include but not limited to sales performance assessment, business reviews and forecasting, etc.
- Special projects as appointed by Leadership.
- Accountable for expense management and T&E compliance
- Comply with all Company Policies: to include but not limited to Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. (MS/MBA preferred) in Chemistry, Engineering, or any relevant business related area.
- A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales or relevant industry experience required.
- A minimum of 5 years of people management experience preferred.

- Proficient in English - written & spoken.
