About The Job
This position is responsible for the North Florida area and supports other territories as needed. The ideal candidate resides in Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville or nearby.
Responsibilities
Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Sales Managers with assistance from Regional Sales Managers to drive and exceed sales and profit targets.
Execution: Insure proper execution of all promotional activity, planogram execution and proper brand standard point of sale execution.
Distributor Partner Management: Develop relationships with NA Brand Managers within local distributor partners (DP), systems to benchmark and establish clear expectations for DP performance, DP’s to drive KPI’s / brand revenue goals, and analyze the distributor structure & making recommendations to the DP.
P&L Management: Create accurate and timely forecasts for case volume, spending & profitability
Hire, manage, and train Field Sales Managers.
Safely operate personal vehicle to fulfill work-related duties; this position involves driving personal vehicles for work-related purposes and therefore requires a clear driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent in Business or Sales Marketing
5+ years of sales experience within the Beverage and Distributor Sales Environment
2+ years of experience displaying leadership skills preferred
Strong distributor management skills.
Strong Leadership Skills to provide mentoring, training & constructive feedback
Strong business acumen in planning, analyzing, and market strategy
Extremely proficient in VIP, Karma, Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint, IRI data, and Nielsen
Excellent presentation skills - both written & verbal
Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, strategic mindset to take initiative and consult with DP’s in joint business planning, market execution, strategic priorities
Setting, tracking, and measuring KPI’s (measuring progress vs. plan)
Valid driver's license
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations
Familiarization with field marketing
Self-directed, goal-oriented, flexible, enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up environment and is scrappy
Curious, forward thinker, owner mentality
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple data sets.
Juggle multiple priorities, manage deadlines both internal and external
Physical Demands
Able to travel up to 30%
Ability to stand in store and sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time
Ability to carry equipment and product up to 50 lbs
The typical salary range for this position is : $80k - $98k
