Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Manager to oversee and manage multiple restaurant locations within a designated district. The District Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, driving sales growth, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong background in restaurant management, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor restaurant managers and their teams to achieve their highest potential. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  2. Operational Excellence: Ensure all restaurants within the district meet and exceed company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  3. Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability across the district. Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Customer Satisfaction: Foster a customer-centric culture by ensuring exceptional service and addressing customer feedback promptly and effectively. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
  5. Inventory and Cost Control: Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Work with restaurant managers to develop and maintain accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
  6. Marketing and Community Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing campaigns and community events. Build strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  7. Staffing and Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment and selection of restaurant managers and team members. Ensure staffing levels are adequate to meet business needs and manage labor costs effectively.
  8. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all restaurants comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.
  9. Strategic Planning: Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans for the district. Align district goals with overall company objectives and drive initiatives to achieve them.
  10. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on district performance to senior management. Use data and insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-unit restaurant management, preferably within a high-growth, private equity-backed environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and profitability targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and operational data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the district.
