Summary: The District Director of Operations (DDO) ensures operational excellence and re-enrollment success in their assigned district by partnering with campus, district, and homebase teams to execute student retention and campus compliance strategies. This role is critical in ensuring our campuses achieve financial success, develop deeply satisfied stakeholders, and deliver a world class education.

Your Day To Day

  • Build relationships through virtual and on-site support to campuses within your district.
  • Track and explore data in re-enrollment, new enrollment, contracting and scheduling practices, compliance, and other business needs to find trends. Use this data to inform strategy and coaching needs.
  • Collaborate with members of multiple divisions in the organization, serving as a conduit between the field and our Homebase teams.
  • Keep up with regulations in the states you serve, document them, and ensure campuses meet these requirements.
  • Understand systems used for contracting, scheduling, and compliance. Aid in training and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Coach Directors of Student Development (DSD) on creation of personalized academic journeys for each student.
  • Provide support with hiring and training of DSD and DFI in your district.
  • Visit campuses to provide on-site support, including shadowing meetings with internal and external stakeholders, auditing that safety and compliance requirements are met, and providing feedback on campus aesthetics.
  • Plan and lead positional calls for DSD and DFI in your district and contribute to national positional calls.
  • Support other needs that arise in the district to ensure success.

  • Adherence to contracting, scheduling, and academic planning best practices within your district.
  • Development of tools, resources, and policies to serve your district and, as needed, all Fusion campuses.
  • DSD training, retention, and team culture in your district.
  • Compliance with all local, state, and national operational requirements for all campuses in your district.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in education, business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in school administration.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulation.
  • Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented, strategic, and innovative thinker.
