Our client is a highly regarded and top-performing global credit fund, who is looking to hire a proven distressed debt/special situations investment professional to their investment team in New York. The firm will consider candidates from VP-level upwards.
The team has posted strong annual average performance over several years and boasts an experienced and respected team hired from leading buy-side funds and prominent sell-side desks.
Working within an international investment team, the role will focus on or require:
Sourcing and execution of credit opportunities across both private and public bonds, loans, post re-org equity and other similar securities
Investing in stressed, distressed and special situations credit opportunities
Strong analysis and financial modelling skills, especially with a focus towards distressed and special situations, or leveraged finance
Liaise with an impressive team across research, portfolio management, trading and investor relations
The candidate should either be currently in a current credit investment seat, restructuring, distressed trading desk, leveraged finance, etc.
