We are presently seeking a highly organized, customer focused and efficient Dispatch Supervisor to join our Restoration division. The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all daily check-ins on the daily operations calendar, entering new jobs and leads onto our internal project management tool, dispatching first responders, and selection of Project Director and Restoration Superintendents for the Restoration division. The Dispatch Supervisor serves as the lead for the Dispatch Department within the Restoration division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Acts as a first-line supervisor for designated dispatch staff overseeing the day-to-day operations, activities, and personnel on an assigned shift to ensure compliance with established guidelines, procedures, and policies
Makes recommendations to Director in appropriate staffing levels
Supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of dispatchers who receive and dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls
Responsible for the effective supervision administration to include staff development, performance management, employee relations, prioritizing, and assigning work-related activities
Approving and monitoring leave requests
Advises staff on difficult issues and makes decisions in exceptional situations to manage and implement appropriate services and assistance
Record all Project Manager daily check-ins on the daily operations calendar
Record all Project Directors statuses on the daily operations calendar
Ensures updates of the daily operations calendar to all Regional Directors and Director of Operations
Input of all job leads, new jobs, client team members and assigned Project Director and Superintendents in Shiggy
Assist with any other ad-hoc projects and administrative support as directed by the leadership team
Maintains ongoing communications and coordination of activities between Dispatch and all areas of BlueTeam
Ensures the operational readiness of the team
Makes minor adjustments to communication systems, analyzes problems, and makes referrals to appropriate sources of service
Assists dispatchers with difficult complex calls and dispatches; serves as the technical expert over dispatching operations; and conducts quality assurance reviews of dispatches
Establishes Dispatch KPI’s and advises on Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Provides meaningful feedback and holds team accountable to set standards of response times and accuracy of data
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience, preferably working for a large general contractor and/or construction company.
Time management skills, with the ability work in a fast-paced environment.
High degree of professionalism and a strong emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize work based upon client and team needs.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or higher; or with a minimum of 3-5 years working in the construction industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES And LICENSES
Certification a plus.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos. Ability to write content and correspondence templates. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
