We offer flexible hours and can work around a school schedule. Hiring full-time, part-time and weekends! **Summary of Responsibilities** The Kitchen Steward plays an essential role in the overall functionality of the kitchen. They will be responsible for ensuring proper standards of cleanliness are met for glassware, flatware, pots, pans and dishes. Assistance with food preparation might also be included in responsibilities. Enhancing the lives of Members and Guests with 'WOW' moments they can't live without. **Essential Functions:**
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, maintained and organized at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of dish station and dish machine + Drain, dry and stack items after washing
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport trash to the disposal area
  • Clean various pieces of equipment + Stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators, slicers, etc. using appropriate cleaning solutions, brushes, wipes
  • Wash and clean walls, windows, doors
  • Sweep & mop kitchen floors; clean mats
  • Organize storage of mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners and other equipment
  • Receive and store supplies
  • Assist in plate up of banquet and other dishes
  • Assist in preparation of food when asked by supervisor
  • Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of outside kitchen area
  • Report maintenance problems in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Adhere to all sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor **Skills:**

  • High School Graduate
  • Minimum 6 months related experience **Required Qualifications:**
  • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays due to the nature of the business
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must have reliable form of transportation
  • No previous experience is required **Physical Requirements:**
  • Occasionally lift objects weighing 50+ pounds, frequently lift objects weighing 15-20 pounds
  • Utilization of both hands and arms
  • Must be able to remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Constant walking and moving
  • Frequently bend, stoop, climb, squat and lift **Working Conditions:**
  • Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environments
  • Must be able to work day and/or night hours, occasional long hours, weekends and holidays **Safety Hazards:**
  • The conditions in the kitchen are sometimes hot, cold and humid
  • Will encounter grease and waste as well as chemical cleaning agents
  • Must use proper gloves, aprons, etc.
  • Sharp knives, meat slicer, fryers and other kitchen equipment **Classification:**
