Ikigai is a 10 course Japanese Kaiseki restaurant located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

The shifts are Tuesday-Saturday night for 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Assist in other kitchen duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant is preferred but not required.
