A discovery request attorney is a an entry level attorney who specializes in managing the legal process of discovery in a lawsuit. Discovery is the pre-trial phase in a lawsuit where each party can request documents, facts, and other evidence from the opposing party. These requests can include interrogatories (written questions), requests for production of documents, requests for admission, and depositions

A discovery request attorney helps their clients navigate this process efficiently and effectively. They can assist in drafting requests, responding to requests from the opposing party, negotiating the scope of discovery, and representing their clients' interests during depositions and other discovery-related proceedings.
