Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Architect

Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Architect for an end client requirements.

Must reside in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana.

Architect is accountable for planning and designing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for Information Technology infrastructure and applications as well as developing an overall strategy that aligns with the needs of the business. The Architect will develop, coordinate, and maintain system recovery plans and coordinate the testing of those plans on a regular basis. The Architect will also perform Business Impact Analyses for new implementations, and a Business Impact Analysis for the entire environment on a periodic basis. They will manage large projects across all facets of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, including Server, Infrastructure, Storage, Data Center, Security, and Telecommunications. The Architect will communicate and coordinate with all areas of the Information Systems department, including infrastructure, applications, database administrators, business owners and vendors.

Work Experience (Basic): Three years to include information technology or infrastructure support, design or analysis and/or project management

Work Experience (Desired): Three years disaster recovery

Education (Required): Bachelor Degree

Certification (Required): Information Technology Infrastructure Library Must obtain Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) credential within one year of hire.

Certification (Desired): Project Management Professional
