Our goal is to increase support for individuals with disabilities accessing partner programs by streamlining services and implementing successful practices for navigating workforce services. This includes assisting with transitioning from high school to postsecondary training, securing necessary support services, facilitating work-based learning activities, and coordinating various resources to promote quality employment outcomes.

Role Description

As a WIOA Partner Navigator (WPN), you will work closely with designated Work One centers and Vocational Rehabilitation offices, serving as a knowledgeable resource on available programs and services. Your main responsibilities will include connecting individuals with disabilities to the appropriate partner programs, improving program access, and facilitating seamless service delivery across various programs. You will build and maintain relationships with partners, attend relevant meetings, and provide valuable cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in training, social services, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Rehabilitation Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven track record of cultivating and sustaining partnerships.
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  
  

Working Environment

In this role, you will operate in various locations, primarily at Work One centers and Vocational Rehabilitation offices within your designated geographic area. You will maintain a consistent presence at partner organizations, attending meetings and conducting activities in-person, with some remote work opportunities available.
