Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned to corporate and departmental goals that enhance talent acquisition and retention.
  • Lead the recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring to include management of talent acquisition team. Provide leadership in applying best practices.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence and develop clear objectives for talent acquisition team.
  • Optimize applicant tracking system for posting positions, sourcing candidates, and tracking relevant recruitment metrics for executive leadership.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and deliver detailed reports to executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Provide leadership in sharing and responding to market intelligence.
  • Build relationships with business unit leadership and program managers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the effective sourcing and retention of talent.
  • Create and guide training initiatives for the talent acquisition team and hiring managers.


Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a talent manager or head of talent acquisition.
  • Experience in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process.
  • Experience recruiting and hiring for DoD programs.
  • Knowledge of hiring processes, skill development, and organizational analysis frameworks.
  • Proficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processes.
  • Thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation.
  • Analytical mindset, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution.
  • Excellent at both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Meticulous, hard-working, and goal driven.
