Fresh offers a hybrid working schedule with three fixed days in office, and two days remote. This role is based in our New York Office.

The sustainability team will collaborate closely across departments to develop and implement sustainability initiatives that enhance Fresh’s brand value and consumer engagement. , Job Description

Your Impact to the role:

  • Definefreshsustainability platform and key objectives
  • Develop and lead Sustainability programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet company goals by deploying action plans, measure our performance and deliver strategic results
  • Propose and follow-up the implementation of sustainability initiatives in packaging, formula, ingredient, responsible sourcing, manufacturing, transport, stores, offices and etc.
  • Lead UEBT relationship and annual reporting
  • Own and drive hero ingredients responsible sourcing roadmap and execution
  • Feeds marketing plans with sustainability initiatives and claims
  • Amplify the brand’s positioning and commitment to sustainability as a core pillar offresh
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications for the content of internal/external communications
  • Coordinate with Departments to answer retailers’ data requirements

Your impact in your first year:

  • Establish and prepare regular sustainability reports to share progress with internal and external.
  • Lead awareness programs, through workshops and training sessions to educate employees about sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Innovation department and develop strategies that support sustainable products.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

, Qualifications

Who You Are

You have:

  • A minimum of 10 Years of work Experience with 3-5 years in Sustainability
  • Sustainability or Environmental Science knowledge
  • Deep knowledge of Sustainability content: greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, ecodesigning, responsible sourcing, sustainable materials Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, reporting, sustainability claims, etc.
  • Knowledge of environmental and social sustainability practices in a business environment
  • Experience of project management in cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing internal and external decision holding stakeholders

You possess:

  • Excellent communication skills with the strong presentation skills
  • Proven Project Management Skills
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Proactively make recommendations on process improvement and new ways of working
  • Ambition to learn more, with a curious mindset
  • Strong passion for the beauty industry
  • An out-of-the-box thinker with a Sky’s the Limit mentality

The salary range for the role is $185,000 - $210,000 USD.
