Director, Supply Chain & Retail Performance

Role Overview

The Supply Chain & Retail Performance Director leads all aspects of inventory management across all product categories to bolster store and online sales, leads projects, develops the team, and applies analytics and market insights to optimize performance, procurement, distribution and aftersales.

This role works closely with Merchandising and Retail teams to ensure open dialogue on stock levels and product availability. This position is also part of Givenchy’s Global Supply Chain team, with a close partnership with the international team and Head of Supply Chain.

The role is an essential part of Givenchy Americas' leadership team, actively contributing to setting key strategic priorities and nurturing the brand's culture.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning

  • Organize and lead regional meetings for business planning adjustments: Forecast Sales with both top-down and bottom-up approaches in collaboration with Finance, Retail, Ecom Directors and Americas President.
  • Manage regional Business Planning: sales forecast for Carry Over products, market analysis, impact of seasonality and product launches.
  • Partner with local merchandising and HQ team to define OTB for new collections.

Distribution

  • Manage target stocks to ensure best availability rate with optimal stock level
  • Launch Seasonal products according to launch calendar
  • Manage Off Price Network to maintain correct level of inventory
  • Implement supply chain processes, be the local leader for distribution and system processes
  • Collaborate with LVMH Fashion Group stakeholders to assess and optimize regional logistics operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Aftersales

  • Oversee the resolution of product care issues, guiding your team to efficiently communicate and address production defects with stores/warehouses.
  • Streamline aftersales claims by overseeing coordination with repair centers and central teams using internal tools.

Retail Performance

  • Lead the analysis of retail performance data for Givenchy, guiding your team in providing actionable insights to bolster sales strategies.
  • Supervise comprehensive performance monitoring across stores, focusing on staffing, sales metrics, and prodcut for strategic improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or specialization in Supply Chain (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years in a similar position
  • Must have a strong background in Supply Chain
  • Must have a strong background with an ERP
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a superior work ethic
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
