Position Overview
As Director of Supply Chain, you'll report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and play a pivotal role in optimizing our global supply chain operations. We're seeking a strategic thinker who can lead our supply planning efforts, enhance operational efficiencies, and foster strong partnerships with both clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring optimal inventory levels and superior customer service metrics.
Streamline logistics from suppliers to manufacturing and distribution, leveraging lean principles for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new products on schedule, integrating consumer insights and supplier feedback.
Implement robust supply chain reporting and KPI tracking to drive continuous improvement.
Build agile and innovative manufacturing networks to meet evolving market demands.
Lead process enhancements and system improvements to mitigate cost volatility and enhance operational stability.
Facilitate training and development sessions to boost productivity and achieve business goals.
Support strategic initiatives such as acquisitions and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 8+ years of experience in pharma, life sciences, or capital equipment industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems a plus.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO-9000) and project management principles.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships across all organizational levels.
