Director Supply Chain - Remote | WFH

About The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in our operations. We're seeking a seasoned professional who excels in strategic, tactical, and operational facets of global supply chain management. This role requires leadership prowess to build and empower high-performing teams and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment. As a collaborative business partner, you'll leverage exceptional client and supplier relationship management skills to drive excellence in contracting, sourcing, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of supply chain professionals in planning and managing projects, ensuring optimal inventory levels and high customer satisfaction.

Optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to manufacturing and customers through segmentation and lean principles.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely product launches and minimize product obsolescence.

Drive supply chain reporting and KPI tracking to enhance operational efficiency.

Develop flexible and resilient manufacturing networks.

Champion process improvements and system enhancements to mitigate cost volatility and enhance operational stability.

Conduct training sessions and meetings to foster productivity and meet business objectives.

Support acquisition or divestiture activities and contribute to reporting and budgeting initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum 8+ years of experience in pharma, life sciences, or capital equipment industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven expertise in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.

Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Syteline is a plus.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO-9000), strategic sourcing methodologies, and project management.
